Mr. Atkins is a native Oklahoman, born and raised in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma where he was also a four-year member of the golf team. He obtained his law degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Law.
While in law school he received the American Jurisprudence Award for his academic excellence in Conflicts of Laws and Professional Responsibility. Professional affiliations include: the American Association for Justice, Oklahoma Bar Association, the William J. Holloway, Jr. American Inn of Court, and the Oklahoma Association for Justice. Mr. Atkins is admitted to practice in all state and Federal Court Districts in Oklahoma. He earned the distinction of being an Oklahoma Super Lawyer from 2008 to present.
Mr. Atkins and his wife have been married for 25 years and have 2 children. Mr. Atkins loves to travel with his family and is still an avid golfer.
In addition to his law practice, he is very active in his community and church. He currently serves on the board of Infant Crisis Services, OKC KLIFE and the Rose Creek Property Owners Association. He has coached his children’s athletic teams and has taught kindergarten Sunday school with his wife.
